Spiritual life begins with deep roots in Jesus. We are grounded in the truth of Scripture, anchored in the gospel, and shaped by ongoing dependence on Christ. In a culture of shallow belief, we pursue a faith that is steady, mature, and formed from the inside out.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.” - John 15:5 CSB

God grows His people in community. Through biblical fellowship and discipleship, we encourage, challenge, and strengthen one another. As we gather around God’s Word and invest in meaningful relationships, we cultivate a spiritual health that lasts.

“From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.” - Ephesians 4:16 CSB

Healthy roots and steady growth produce fruit. Every believer is sent into their areas of influence to live and share the gospel. As God causes us to flourish, we seek to multiply disciples, raise leaders, and extend Christ’s transforming power from our city and to the ends of the earth.

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.” - Matthew 9:37 CSB

We envision a church where people from every background and generation encounter the life-changing grace of Jesus Christ and are deeply formed in Him. In a world marked by confusion, isolation, and spiritual apathy, Verdant Church will be a place where people discover new life in the gospel and grow deep roots in the truth of God’s Word. Through faithful biblical teaching and a prayerful dependence on God, we desire to see men, women, and children come to Christ and respond in both salvation and water baptism. 

Verdant Church will pursue relationships marked by hospitality, accountability, and shared life through intentionally built Community Groups. We envision a rich and authentic community of believers where people are known, loved, and encouraged through discipleship in small groups. We envision communities where families are strengthened, marriages nurtured, and parents equipped to disciple their children so that faith flourishes from generation to generation. 

We envision a culture of intentional discipleship where people are equipped to follow Jesus and help others do the same. Through meaningful relationships and spiritual formation, we desire to see disciples grow in wisdom, conviction, and courage. As God raises up leaders among us, we will equip and send future pastors, ministry leaders, and church planters to carry the gospel into new communities and countries.
