Verdant Staff Culture
Build Trust
We Live Above Reproach
We commit to lives of personal holiness and integrity, both publicly and privately. We recognize that our lives reflect on Christ and His Church, and we will pursue consistency between our calling and our conduct.
(1 Timothy 3:7)
We Assume the Best
We choose trust over suspicion. We will give one another the benefit of the doubt, refusing to assign motives or jump to conclusions without understanding.
(1 Corinthians 13:7)
We Address Issues Directly and Quickly
When tension or misunderstanding arises, we will handle it in a biblical and timely way. We will go directly to the person involved and pursue clarity, not avoidance.
(Matthew 18:15)

Pursue Unity
We Protect and Prioritize Unity
We believe unity is essential to the mission of the Church and must be guarded intentionally. We will not allow preferences, frustrations, or personal agendas to divide what Christ has joined together.
(Ephesians 4:3)
We Refuse Gossip and Triangulation
We are committed to a culture where trust is protected and conversations are handled with integrity. We will not vent, complain, or process frustrations about staff or leadership with others who are not part of the solution.
(Proverbs 6:16, 19)
We Support and Honor One Another
We commit to a posture of respect, humility, and alignment. Even when we disagree, we will move forward together with unity and trust.

Speak Life
We Speak with Honesty and Grace
We will not avoid hard conversations, but we will handle them in a Christlike way. We commit to being truthful without being harsh, and honest without being divisive.
(Ephesians 4:15)
We Encourage One Another
We commit to intentionally building one another up. We will use our words to strengthen, affirm, and remind each other of God’s work in and through one another.
(1 Thessalonians 5:11)
We Celebrate One Another
We will celebrate wins, growth, and faithfulness in one another’s lives and ministries. We refuse comparison or competition, choosing instead to rejoice when others succeed.

The Ministry Assistant serves a vital role in the daily ministry and operations of Verdant Church. This position is designed for someone who senses a call to vocational ministry and desires to learn from an experienced leadership team while helping build a new church from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is teachable, driven, organized, and eager to gain experience in a variety of ministry areas. This role offers hands-on exposure to church administration, leadership, discipleship, event planning, communications, and ministry development.
Primary responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact in the church office by welcoming guests, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and helping create a warm and hospitable environment. Additional duties include providing administrative support to church staff, managing calendars and scheduling, assisting with church communications, coordinating volunteers, preparing materials for ministry events and services, maintaining records and databases, supporting guest follow-up efforts, helping organize meetings and special events, and completing ministry and operational tasks as assigned.
